Photos of a new Nexus X smartphone, apparently to be Sony’s contribution to Google’s Nexus line of devices, appeared.
Two photos of the device were shown on Picasa. One photo shows the front of the phone, which features three hardware buttons, including Back and Home. Another shows its back side, which has the Google and Sony logos inscribed on the surface. The device also appears to have both front- and back-facing cameras.
The device bears a bit of resemblance to recently announced handsets like the Xperia T. The so-called Nexus X appears to run an untouched version of Android unlike its cousins.
The device could be a stand out among a potential crowd of Nexus-branded competitors with its classic design.
Though the photos are not confirmed yet, the partnership like this could end up working out nicely for both Google and Sony. Sony is a pro at designing and crafting hardware and the partnership can offer new Android updates to the fans.
