9 to 5 working hours has become a thing of the past. Working professionals are either enjoying their jobs, happily serving more than 9 hours a day or feel overworked. If you belong to the first category, nothing like it. If you fall in the second one, no need to fret. There are many who feel the same.
According to a recent study conducted by social project management software provider Wrike on 1,915 U.S. respondents,
87% of workers, from business owners to freelancers, say they overwork on a regular basis. Perhaps the most surprising result of the survey is that even though that large percentage feels overworked, 42% of all the respondents still feel satisfied with their work/life balance.
As the infographic shows below, one apparent stress reducer is being a team member and the biggest morale booster is to give individuals ownership of a project, or let them feel a sense of responsibility, where 76.8% said that would increase their efficiency.
The biggest hit on productivity is the coworkers stopping by your desk for some breather, and other social networking sites.
