It couldn’t get any better for all Simpsons fans. Everyone's favorite animated family is coming to life at Springfield, hometown to the beloved family.
The Simpsons get their own expanded area at the Universal Orlando Resort this summer.
This summer in Orlando, Universal is expanding the world around the show and building a Springfield replica within the park.
The Simpsons Ride which was launched in 2008 will take the guests into the streets of Springfield which will include a brand-new outdoor attraction, places and foods pulled directly from the show and two new Simpsons characters who will make their debut with the new area – Krusty the Clown and Sideshow Bob along with a new ride — Kang & Kodos' Twirl 'n' Hurl.
Fans will be able to enjoy some tasty treats at the food attractions, including Krusty Burger, the Frying Dutchman, Lard Lad, Luigi's Pizza and Taco Fresho. Patrons can also imbibe a Duff Beer which is apparently brewed exclusively for Universal Orlando) at Moe's Tavern.
Universal Orlando has invested in a mini theme park earlier opening the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal's Islands of Adventure theme park in 2010. An expansion of Diagon Alley- the Harry Potter attraction will open at Universal Studios Florida in 2014.
