Jesse and His Band From 'Full House' Perform on 'Fallon'

The '90s heartthrob John Stamos  of the hit show Full House reprised an equally charming Jesse Katsopolis on Friday for Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Jesse and the Rippers, Katsopolis' band, performed four of their greatest hits - including the Full House theme song.

The actor shot to fame on the hit sitcom, in which his character fronted a band called Jesse & the Rippers.

Stamos took viewers back to the 1990s on by reprising his beloved “Full House” character Jesse Katsopolis to rock out with his TV band.

The Rippers, including John Stamos (who played Uncle Jesse on Full House), took over the stage after a signature Fallon introduction: "They're a great band out of San Francisco, and in 1992, their single 'Forever' became a number-one hit in Japan. Tonight, they're reuniting for one night only."

The 49-year-old actor dug up his signature old mullet and leather vest to appear as Jesse Katsopolis.

Jesse and the Rippers re-melted hearts by performing "Forever," Elvis Presley's "Little Sister," The Beatles' "Hippie Hippie Shake," (which the band last performed at Walt Disney World on an episode of “Full House") and of course, the "Full House" theme song.

Fallon even had a "Smash Club" sign hanging, a nod to the bar Stamos’ character opened on the show.

Stamos truly got in the spirit of the Jesse and The Rippers reunion and threw in a "Have Mercy" mid-performance for good measure before he ran into the audience.

Adding to the blast from the past, actors Bob Saget, who played Danny Tanner, and Lori Loughlin — Stamos' on-screen wife Becky, joined in the fun by appearing in character. Saget was seen in the audience dancing along.

The performance concluded with Rebecca Donaldson-Katsopolis coming to Jesse and kissing him.

It's been nearly 20 years since Stamos last appeared as everyone's favorite Uncle Jesse but the dashing Actor still looks the same.

Loughlin and Stamos admit having great chemistry while appearing as Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky on "Full House."

While talking about his co-star Loughlin in a recent interview, Stamos admitted that, the actress 48, currently married to fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, was "the one that got away," revealing they never quite got together in real life because "timing was always off".

Nevertheless, the pair looked great together during the nostalgia-filled segment. "We were great friends...and we have chemistry," the actress said recently of her former costar, who she refers to as her "family."

The show ran from 1987 until 1995.

Need a little Jesse in your life? You got it, dude! Fallon's YouTube account posted a video of the performance, above, early Saturday morning.

Stamos currently stars on USA's Necessary Roughness.
