While getting out of bed in morning, one usually follows the routine: hitting "snooze" every 10-minutes to get those doses of extra sleep, only to find 30 minutes later that you're still in bed and about to be late for work. Again.
There are a number of alarm apps that are available out there and chances are you must have tried couple of them already but still couldn’t get yourself out of bed on time in morning.
But a new alarm app called Walk Up makes sure you actually get out of bed in the morning: It requires you to take a walk with the phone to shut the alarm off.
The app uses your iPhone's built-in accelerometer to track your movements so you cannot really cheat. You can program the app to shut off with a handful of steps or takea 100-step stroll to finally turn off. It's available for a range of iOS devices and costs $0.99.
The alarm that goes off is a voice of a screaming male or female voice. Additional options, are available for $0.99 but all equally annoying.
So if you want to bring back a little discipline in early hours of your day with an alarm that means business, Walk Up may well be the app for you.
